What we do
Our friendly cafe is normally open from 10 am and offers a choice of breakfast for early risers staying at Treen campsite and those wanting a healthy start to their walk on the
Coastal Path. Visitors to the picturesque village of Treen can relax with a locally roasted espresso and hot buttered teacake, one of the many freshly baked goods from our resident Baker Steve, before a scenic walk to one of the stunning local beaches, Ped'n-an-Vounder, Porthcurno or Nanjizal.
For those returning from a leisurely stroll on the easily accessible cliff path, or more energetic walkers making their way back from the Logan Rock, we have something to suit most tastes, from traditional steak pasties, vegetable samosas, homemade paninis and sandwiches to delicious homemade cakes, Roskilly's ice creams and cream teas. Whether for an appointment with the beach or a seat at the Minack Theatre, we can also provide the ideal take-away food and drink, available to preorder.
Who we are
Most of the produce we use is sourced from small-scale local producers in and around Treen, Lamorna and St Just. We are a small family business who grow unsprayed vegetables in the Lamorna Valley, which we sell here in the cafe and on the adjacent stall in Treen, some of which we use in our light lunches. Our philosophy is to be as sustainable as possible, and we hope this is reflected in the cafe.
